The 502s – Easy Street Tour

With Special Guest:  HENRIK

 29th Jan 2026

Doors 6.30pm / Show 8.00pm

The music of The 502s is an instant shortcut to unstoppable joy. Often called “the happiest band on Earth,”
the Orlando-bred five piece have earned a passionate following for their kaleidoscopic beach-folk, bringing
their exhilarating live show to headline tours around the world and turning out timeless hits like their 2021
viral smash “Just A Little While.” On their new LP Easy Street, The 502s pour their unbridled energy and
eclectic musicality into their most adventurous offering to date: a 13-song concept album set entirely in the
bliss of a beach town, a carefree dreamland of warm sands and tiki drinks and neverending sunshine.

Fueled by their soul-soothing melodies and larger-than-life harmonies, the result is equal parts glorious free-
for-all and powerful antidote to the everyday grind.

Their fourth album and debut release for Big Loud Records, Easy Street marks the most fully realized work
yet from The 502s, whose lineup includes frontman Ed Isola, horn player Joe Capati, drummer Sean
Froelich, bassist Nick Dallas, and guitarist Graci Phillips. “In the past we’ve had limited time in the studio
and the process has been chaotic, but this album was so much more fun,” says Isola, who serves as the
band’s main songwriter. “We all felt very connected, and there were a lot of moments that came from us
just having a good time and riffing off each other—which is essentially the core of who we are as a band.”
Produced by their frequent collaborator Bobby Campbell and recorded at Farmland Studios in Nashville,
Easy Street also finds The 502s joining forces with a stacked lineup of guest musicians (on mandolin, piano,
strings, vibraphone, accordion, and more)—ultimately adding even more texture to their rowdy and
rapturous sound while harnessing all the wild exuberance of their live set.
The follow-up to The 502s’ 2024 self-titled LP, Easy Street opens on the bright and bouncy “Sayonara,”
one of the very first songs penned for the album. With its heartfelt message of unbreakable optimism, the
exquisitely catchy track soon crystallized Isola’s vision for the overall project. “Easy Street is meant to be a
place you can go in your mind that feels like those moments on vacation when you’re completely relaxed
and there’s nothing to worry about,” he says. “Our hope is that someone can hit play on any of these songs
and immediately feel a little lighter and more joyful than they felt before.” And while the album sometimes
explores the more painful dimensions of the human experience, The 502s aim to encourage others to
embrace a purposeful positivity. “One of the main things we wanted to get across with the album is that you
can choose which road to take,” says Capati. “When you listen to all these songs in succession, there’s a
sense of saying goodbye to the bad and welcoming the good into your life.”
A dazzling example of Easy Street’s indomitable spirit, “Sweet Tooth” shares a giddy portrait of a summer
crush, telegraphing a dizzy elation in its breakneck rhythms, effervescent gang vocals, and fantastically goofy
poetry (e.g., “I hope that on a summer eve/While underneath her mango trees/Our tongues can do the
tango/As we bring to life a fantasy”). “‘Sweet Tooth’ is about seeing someone from across the room and
having all these elaborate daydreams about the life you could live together,” says Isola. “We really wanted to
capture that euphoria in the recording, and it turned into a song where it feels like there’s so many people
singing and stomping along—almost like you’re dropped right into the craziest moment of our live show.”
On songs like “End of the World,” The 502s strike a lovely balance of heart-on-sleeve outpouring and

bittersweet introspection, lending another layer of depth to their lived-in storytelling. An epic piece of indie-
folk, the fast-driving anthem unfolds with both punchy intensity and unforgettable tenderness. “The idea

behind that song is, ‘If the world was ending, who would you want to be with?’” Isola explains. “It might be
a romantic partner or it might be your friends and family, but either way it’s most likely the people who give
you a sense of peace.” Later, on “Quicksand,” Easy Street presents one of the most heavy-hearted songs so
far in The 502s’ repertoire: an intimate reflection on a relationship’s slow fade, graced with aching
harmonies and gorgeously haunting synth tones. “It’s a different mood from most of the album, but it felt
important to recognize that we all go through hard times,” says Isola. “We’ve all fallen out of love, and
being able to open up about your pain is a huge part of getting to a better place.”

With its tracklist also including standouts like the sublimely breezy lead single “Summer Fling,” Easy Street
endlessly radiates an infectious joie de vivre—an element closely tied to The 502s’ unequivocal camaraderie
and commitment to keeping it playful in the studio. “There were a couple of songs where I’d written up the
lyrics in a Google Doc, and while I was in the vocal booth Graci kept changing the words in real time and
reworking them into dumb puns,” Isola recalls. “I kept trying not to laugh, which added a lightness to my
voice that really comes through in those takes.” As founder of The 502s, Isola got his start writing songs on
banjo back in his college dorm, then slowly brought the rest of his bandmates into the fold. With their early
triumphs including winning a local battle-of-the-bands contest that secured them a spot alongside the likes of
Mumford & Sons and The Avett Brothers at the 2016 Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival, The 502s have
since navigated a steady rise to music stardom and achieved such coveted milestones as performing at
leading music festivals like Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, and Boston Calling; headlining tours across the U.S.,
the U.K., Europe, and Australia; and—most recently—making their national TV debut with a crowd-thrilling
appearance on “Good Morning America” in spring 2025. “We’re all big dreamers and to see those dreams
actualized on a daily basis is so humbling and cool,” says Capati. “It all just proves that the sky’s the limit, as
long as that’s where you set it.”
Now gearing up for another headline tour, The 502s are quick to point out one of the most gratifying
aspects of living their dream: the deep sense of connection they’ve built with their fans. “From talking to our
fans at shows, we’ve heard so many stories about how our music has been a bright spot in their lives when
everything else feels dark,” says Isola. “That’s exactly what we’ve always set out to do with our music, and it’s
really special to see how our shows have become a place where people can interact with each other and find
a supportive community. Whether you’re a first-time listener or you’ve been with us for years, everyone’s
welcomed with open arms. We’re all just glad you’re here. Everyone is welcome on Easy Street.”
